General Motors Diesel Division in London, Ontario, built 92 of Model G12 between 1955 and 1964. Ninety went to Mexico for the NdeM while 2 remained at home here in London. The wires came down in the 1960's and thus diesel power was necessary to run to Port Stanley. CNR acquired the line in 1966.
